These warm winters are very conducive to these insects and an issue we must monitor for prevention. There is no cure once the tree is infected. A combination of Carpenter Ant control in these areas should include monitoring and possible prevention treatment.

Ted Smith has been in Lawn/Tree Care and Pest Control since 1981.
Having built a Lawn Care company of 26 employees and 11 trucks he realized he enjoyed helping home owners create beautiful yards and safe homes but didn’t want to run a company. He also didn’t agree with many of the commercial companies that did not care about environmental care or Integrated Pest Management. Ted now operates as an independent contractor with the equipment to spray large trees, correctional pruning, tough weeds in turf and indoor pest control.
Customers expressed the desire to cut cost by doing as much home and yard care that they can. Ted has a unique experience of being a Certified Arborist teaching juvenile tree correction to being licensed for weed control and even indoor pest control. This education and licensing came about from seeing the need to cover all the problems a Home owner can need help with.
